The sale of photo wallpapers is a rather specific issue that requires the selection of non-standard solutions in order to be handled by the online shop.
If we want to support the sale of photo wallpapers in an online shop on the Prestashop engine, it will not be possible to handle such a process natively efficiently and legibly.
The solution to the problem should theoretically be the Prestashop add-ons market and the purchase of a ready-made module – however, analyzing the general offer from the add-on market for similar modules of this type – we found that none of the most available solutions support this process in the expected, desired way and we started working on our own, proprietary solution. A few months of work and we have results – with great pleasure we present you a modern, original module, configurator for selling photo wallpapers for Prestashop 1.7, Prestashop 8.
What distinguishes our solution and what are its functionalities and capabilities?
Two working modes– photo wallpaper configurator module for Prestashop 1.7, Prestashop 8:
– normal mode (the configurator is launched for a product with a defined, already uploaded photo as a product cover, e.g. from a photo bank or from another source, the “Upload photo” button directs to the product / category in which the configurator is launched in the upload photo mode ),
– upload photo mode (the configurator is launched for a product without a predefined photo, with a placeholder as the product cover, in the middle of the placeholder there is a “Upload photo” button – allowing the user to upload his own photo).
Utility functionalitiesof the photo wallpaper configurator for Prestashop 1.7, Prestashop 8:
– the ability to upload your own photo as a print plane, support for photo wallpaper printing from your own photo (upload photo),
– automatic trimming of the print plane to the size specified by the user,
– ability to move the cropping area by the user,
– the ability to rotate the print plane by the user,
– the ability to specify whether the printout should be black and white by the user,
– Crop button activated after specifying the cropping size,
– selection of the photo wallpaper printing method,
– dynamic selection of the material used for printing after selecting the printing method,
– the area of the photo wallpaper cut in the configurator appears in the basket with all the selected parameters (length, width, printing method, printing material),
– the print price is updated dynamically depending on the selected parameters and print size and is presented to the user,
– the selected printing method and material for printing are updated dynamically in the calculation summary depending on the selection made and are presented to the user.
Configuration optionsof the module for selling photo wallpapers for Prestashop 1.7, Prestashop 8:
– the ability to define the maximum size of the printout (length, width) by the shop staff,
– the ability to define the printing methods along with the ability to define the price for the printing method (fixed amount or per m2),
– the ability to define materials for printing along with the ability to define the price for the printing material (fixed amount or per m2),
– the ability to define materials for printing depending on the printing method (i.e. material B available only for printing method A, etc.),
– the ability to specify the category in which the configurator is to be launched in normal mode,
– the ability to specify the category in which the configurator is to be launched in the upload photo mode.
ATTENTION! It is necessary to configure several elements of the shop and the shop template to work well with the module, so the price of the configurator also includes adapting the shop and the shop template to work with our module for selling photo wallpapers. Optionally, for people who want to perform the customization process on their own, we provide clear documentation.
ATTENTION! The configurator does not include integration with the selected photo bank. We are preparing integrations with popular photo banks, but it will be an additional paid option (for a single photo bank).
ATTENTION! The module in demo mode is made available only after the initial verification of the entity as a seller of photo wallpapers (e.g. a printing house), we do not share the module in the test version with intermediaries, we prefer direct cooperation with interested entities.
The module is encoded in IonCube. The license is granted for 1 shop address.
We offer the possibility of any modification and extension of the module and customization typically to your individual needs.
